Project description:

The Social Enterprise Mark website was commissioned by RISE South West -  the voice for South West social enterprises.  RISE supports the development of sustainable social enterprises in the South West region. The website promotes the Social Enteprprise Mark.  The mark is a label that tells customers that a product or service comes from a social enterprise and is creating a social or environmental benefit.

The website was created using Drupal, one of the leading Open Source content management systems.  It provides a private area for licensee's and integrates an accredited supplier's directory with Google Maps.  Drupal was chosen as it provides a most powerful administration interface and allows substantial extension to functionality without requiring any programming knowledge.

altcom provided the visual design, content management system, website build, comissioning and maintains the dedicated webserver on which the website runs.
