Social Enterprise Web Win
Altcom was recently commissioned to build a new integrated website and CRM (customer Relationship Management) system for RISE.
RISE is the voice for South West social enterprise and supports the development of sustainable social enterprises in the region.The basic visual design work was carried out by a social enteprise called COSMIC with the implementation and build being carried out by altcom.
RISE is a membership
organisation open to anyone who has an interest in the social
enterprise agenda and there a lot of membership events throughout the
year. Therefore, the membership and event management side of the
development was a key part of the project. To get a seamless integration
between the website, the CRM and event management we decided to use
Drupal with CiviCRM. Drupal is an open source CMS with development
framework capabilities andCiviCRM is an excellent and fully featured CRM
which can handle both membership and events.
